Earlier I spent several years working as a principal engineer at Paremus, a distributed systems startup, and before that had a variety software design and development roles in European Telecoms and Banking.

I have a scientific background and hold a Ph.D in Theoretical Physics/Mathematics from the University of Cambridge.
